Vvedenskaya church of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Monastery Varnitsky - the only church that survived godless times and come down, albeit in a very distorted form, to the present day. It was built in the years 1826-1828 in the classical style with funds donated by philanthropists. The principal amount for its construction came from the Rostov merchant and philanthropist M. Pleshanova, as well as the Bishop of Orenburg and Ufa Augustine (Sakharov), who lived in the monastery Varnickiy. In addition, funds were donated by merchants of Rostov AA Titov II Balashov and others.
Bookmark the church in honor of the Presentation of Mary was completed in the spring of 1826, and a year later, it appeared on the cross. At the same time the contract was made on the decoration of the church painting. Picturesque pays the MM Pleshanova. It is worth noting that its resources were also purchased garment 2 to the throne and the altar, gospel, prayer books, and vessels.
In the autumn of 1828 the solemn ceremony of consecration of the high altar of the church, and the following year were consecrated two other chapels: in honor of the prophet Elijah and the apostle John the Evangelist. On the one hand in the church porch was built lodge, on the other hand - the sacristy.
Vvedensky temple was maintained in good condition and, in general, the means of benefactors. On the church until the end of his life a lot of donated MM Pleshanov. And in the early 80-ies of the XIX century, when both internal and external decoration of the building is already in some way old, and update it was made on the money peasant IA Helmsman.
Stone construction in the monastery continued during the XIX century. By the second half of the century in the northwestern area of the monastery appeared 2 small rustic building-provincial species, one of which was equipped abbot's quarters, and the other - the cells for the brethren. Also, in 1832 there appeared a new refectory building, construction of which went to the remaining material from the closed church of St. warm. Nicholas, built in the years 1783-1786 and strongly affected by the fire that occurred in a monastery in the autumn of 1824.
In the Soviet years Vvedenskaya church is the only surviving church building in the monastery and was in a very damaged condition. Renovated in 2001, it is now operational.
