House-Museum of Yordan Yovkov - a literary museum dedicated to the life and work of the famous Bulgarian writer. Yovkov lived on the turn of the century - from 1880 to 1937, and the beginning of a career has fallen to 1902. At the time, the writer fond of symbolism, and after participating in the two Balkan wars turned to prose and short stories, clear and close to their compatriots. In addition, Yovkov graduated from the Sofia University and until 1912 worked as a teacher. Later he became politicized work as an editor of the magazine "People's Army", which published the first sketch writer on the military theme. After the death of Yovkov, his works have been translated into seven languages, including Russian.
In the museum are exhibited authentic everyday objects that recreate the illusion of a real movement in the beginning of XX century. In addition to the interior and shelves, the house-museum offers to familiarize with diverse collections on historical themes. So, for example, is particularly interesting collection of ancient ornaments, which were held in high esteem among the tribes of nomads who inhabited the area. Equally interesting will be an impressive collection of weapons.
