In 1743, near the Saint Sophia Cathedral was laid on a warm temple Anthony and Theodosius - Pechora miracle workers. Initially, the temple had two-part structure: a room with an apse and a refectory. In 1850 the church was expanded and he's got the form of a Latin cross with a transverse nave.
In 1867, at the expense of the merchant of Tobolsk to the temple was built on the north side chapel, and it was renamed the Intercession. Unusual architecture of the temple, he does not have a dominant volume, center head very slightly rises above the roof, and the apse is crowned by a small cupola.
The interior of the cathedral, in spite of the low height of the temple, looks spacious. Two vaulted hall - a longitudinal room dining room and lounge room cross - linked wide arch. Cathedral bell tower was built in the late 18th century in place of the dismantled tent belfry. After a disaster, the project was revised and laid the foundation for further from the cliff, after which in 1797 the construction of the bell tower was completed successfully.
The thickness of the walls of the bell tower is approximately two meters. In the room are two bell towers in height vaulted ceiling. A spiral staircase leads to the brick first tier of ringing and then the wooden stairs you can get to the second-tier. A total of two levels created by 15 bells.
