In the picturesque town of Aarhus runs many museums are very popular is the Museum of Prehistoric Denmark. This is one of the most important museums of ancient history East Jutland. The museum has exhibits Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron. Specialists, archaeologists, ethnographers, anthropologists Aarhus University are actively involved in the work of the museum.

Nearby is an interesting Viking Museum. Since December 2011, he officially became part of the Museum of prehistoric Denmark.
