Kosovo Museum of the liberation struggle of the Carpathian edge located in Kosov, the streets of Independence, 55. The museum, dedicated to the historical events of 1920-1954 gg. It was created March 11, 1999 according to the decision of the V session of the Kosovo District Council, in cooperation with the regional organizations of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists. Since 2004, the museum was part of the State Museum Fund of Ukraine, and since 2006 became a branch of the regional museum.

The museum exposition is designed with light and sound effects. The museum of the liberation struggle of the Carpathian Territory has more than 1440 exhibits. Thematic exposition Kosovo museum covers a span of 20-50-ies. XX century. and covers all the glorious pages of the Ukrainian state, which included: the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, fighting civilians from the occupying powers, the activities of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and the repressions against the Ukrainians. The museum exposition was collected materials Ukrainian Resistance Movement party Daria Koshak, photographic archive materials Yavoriv UPA, documents and artifacts that came to the museum from the different concerned people.

The main purpose of the museum - preserve the memory of the truthful, not distorted by the Soviet ideology, the history of the liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people, as well as to raise patriotism in the modern Ukrainian youth. To do this, the museum operates a small library that everyone can enjoy. Also in the museum kept a book of memory of victims of repression, which lists the names of the victims.
