Martyshkinsky memorial or memorial "Martyshkino" is a memorial complex in the village Martyshkino. Martyshkino (from the Swedish - «Tyris», Finnish - «Tyrö»: Tyurё) is a historic district of the town of Lomonosov in the east of the railway crossing at the intersection of the streets Jora Antonenko and Marine streets.

Memorial "Martyshkino" is on both sides of the highway St. Petersburg - Lomonosov. In the southern area you can see the monument to the Soldier-sculpture-winner of the bronze soldier, wearing a cape, shown in throwing the embrasure pillbox. The memorial was opened in 1975.

Martyshkinsky Memorial was established on the site of burial defenders Oranienbaum bridgehead, which were implemented during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

In 1946, the first burial was landscaped and fenced meter fence. 3 years later, in 1949, on the south side was built a concrete sculpture of a sailor without a hat. Height - 3 meters. In early August 1974 the grave of the islands Powerful and Small were transferred to a mass grave in front of standing sculpture. In the same year in the southern region have established a memorial symbolic grave of Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Andreyevich Nemcova. There is also the tomb of another hero of the USSR - Kostylёvu Georgiy Dmitrievich.

Work on the redevelopment of the new graves were carried out in 1975, when the northern part was separated from the highway anchor chains. That year is considered to be the official year of the opening of the memorial "Martyshkino."

In 1983, in the southern part of the memorial plaques were hung with the established names of the soldiers. In the same year, in the autumn sailor sculpture dismantled. Design a new memorial to the architect Alexander Alimov, a sculptor made Makarovich Eduard Aghayan.
