Sulabh unique museum, located in the Indian capital New Delhi is the ideal place for those who want to use, but at the same time fun, spend a few hours. The fact that this museum is dedicated to the history of sanitation and toilet.

It was created on the initiative of Dr. Bindeshvara Pathak, founder of the environmental volunteer organization Sulabh International, which deals with issues of alternative energy and waste management, on the territory of its chief of staff.

In addition to the entertainment mission, to a greater extent the museum's collection is intended to draw public attention to the serious health situation that prevailed in India at the moment. Especially in small towns and villages where there is no system fully treated wastewater because of what it has developed a dangerous epidemiological situation.

The museum has a large collection of all kinds of strange and funny toilet fixtures, toilets, chamber pots and bowls. On display there are copies of different countries and eras, and with reference to specific items you can track the development of "toilet" technologies from ancient times to the present. The oldest artifact dates back to 2500 BC and the pride of the museum is a replica of the famous throne of the monarch Louis XIV, with a hole in the middle to meet the physiological needs, is also present in the collection, and technical innovations, specially designed for modern restrooms.
