Schnoor Quarter

The oldest district in Bremen - Schnoor - in the Middle Ages was a street sailors, artisans and dockers. House XV-XVIII century, are located so close to each other, as if imposed on the cord. This quarter, narrowly escaped destruction, and in 1958 it began to be restored.

In the center of the quarter remained small gothic Franciscan church with decorative gable, arched niches and brick masonry "herringbone". Nearby is the Museum of Toys.

The Schnoor many antique shops, art shops, and restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. There is the smallest hotel in Germany, consisting of three rooms.
