Whitley Court is located near the town of Worcester, in the heart of England. This historic mansion is now almost completely destroyed, but in this form it makes a big impression on tourists.

The first brick house in the style of King James was built on this site in the early XVII century. Subsequent owners expanded and finish building the house, at the beginning of the XVIII century on the estate there was a church with a baroque interior and stunning paintings, and in the second half of the XVIII century, when the estate was divided park and formal garden, which had to move to another place of the village of Great Whitley . His heyday the estate reaches the end of the XIX century.

In 1920 the estate changed owners again, and its new owner, Sir Herbert Smith left the house only a small staff of servants. Most of the building was not used, the house is not watched so carefully, and when in 1937 a fire broke out, it was a disaster for the estates. The house is almost completely burned. Church and fountains were not injured, and the park survived. Since 1972, the estate undergoing restoration. Fully restored one of the two famous fountains, "Perseus and Andromeda". In recent years, plans have been found of a formal garden, and is working on its restoration.

Now Whitley Court, which is privately owned, is in the custody of the state. The estate is for sale, but whoever becomes the new owner, there will be carried out restoration work and place will be open to the public.
