Archaeological Museum of Butrint is located on the shores of the lake 14 km from Saranda. The first excavations were carried out here by Italian scientists in the 1920-1930-ies. It was found city walls, theater and temples of V-III centuries. BC. In 1992 Butrint included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.   I can complement the description
