Cortina d'Ampezzo Ethnographic Museum is also located in a historic building Chaz de ra Regoles in the spa town center. Previously, the museum occupies the old sawmill premises, but in 1975 he moved into the building Chaz de ra regolith, also known as regolith Ampezzo, which is located on two floors. Part of the museum space is given over to thematic exhibitions with their priceless artifacts of folk art and crafts - wood mosaic, silver filigree, wrought iron and period costumes. The main purpose of creating an ethnographic museum to show visitors how the adoption of certain decisions were shaped the cultural space, which today affects Cortina d'Ampezzo - its forests and pastures. In addition, the museum helps to understand how life evolved over the centuries in the valley of Ampezzo and how joint efforts to preserve old traditions and customs, as well as the centuries-old carried out the interaction of man and nature.
