Sayan Art Gallery - is one of the cultural highlights of the city. Founded in 1983, the art gallery has become one of the most visited places not only locals but also tourists.

For a short time Sayan Gallery managed to acquire quite a solid collection. The collection has more than 1738 graphics storage units, painting - 574 units sculptures - about 85 units and objects of arts and crafts - 49 units. The basis of the collection of the gallery put paintings and drawings of the best contemporary artists in Russia and the CIS countries, which had to work for the period 1928-1999 gg.

Sayan art gallery consists of several parts, dedicated to music, theater, performance and photography. The collection is presented canvases Siberian artists: G. Novikov, A. Gutterzona, Pozdeyeva A., I. Bochantseva, L. Gimova, Smagina V. Rogal, Mitkina Yu, V. Kuzmin, B. Ryauzova, G. Kuzmin . A significant part of the collection consists of works by local artists: A. Znamensky, V. Kuznetsov, S.Chistova, J. Pliska, I. Byrgazova, T.Kolobova, Egorov, G. Govorina, N. Novikov, G. Zaitsev, A. and L. Tishchenko. As for graphics, it is represented by such names as V. Bashlykov A. Shipitsyn, S. Garashchuk, Vereshchagin, V. Moshkin, A. Samarin, Monohonov E., N. Basharin. In Sayan Art Gallery are 29 works by the artist E. Bellucci (Belutin).

On the basis of open galleries Club Photographic Society "Poliart." Each year the staff of the museum organizes about 30 interesting exhibits. In 2011, the gallery for the first time participated in the All-Russia action "Night of Museums".
