Sudzhuradzh - a small fishing village on the eastern side of the island of Sipan, one of the two is located. With being on the opposite side of the town of Sipanska Luka Sudzhuradzh connects highway, on which a regular bus service. Constantly living here for about a hundred people.

Village is located in a small bay, almost opposite is the island Lopud of the same settlement. During the day cruising the bay a small excursion boats that bring tourists from Sipan to Dubrovnik and nearby islands. Tourists mainly come for a review of the castle, which is located in the village.

In the 16th century this building was the summer residence of a wealthy family of merchants and seafarers. The castle is now privately owned, and inspection is possible only from the outside, but that does not stop to feel the spirit of history and admire the monumental medieval buildings. Under the walls of the castle is a restaurant in the style of the era of chivalry - with heavy tables, wrought iron seats and candles.

If you go on the road to the left of the castle, you can find a well-preserved to this day quadrangular tower, which is the church. This is one of those forts, churches, a lot of which are located on the islands of Dalmatia. On the hill above Sudzhuradzhem, which offers panoramic views of the famous, is the church of the Holy Trinity.

The village is equipped with a well-groomed long embankment, the water is stunning purity, and the locals are swimming right here on the steps going down into the sea.
