Fuschl am See - Austrian village situated in the province of Salzburg on the shore of Lake Fuschl. Fuschl am See is located between Salzburg and Bad Ischl.

The first historical mention of the area belongs to the 8th century. In the 12th century Fuschl am See has been registered as Fuschilsee. In the 13th century, construction began on the castle Vortenfels nearby Fuschl am See. Currently we remained only the ruins of the castle.

Today, Fuschl am See is a quiet picturesque village in which there is a school, a library and other facilities social infrastructure. In Fuschl am See are located the headquarters of the company Red Bull, as well as in the municipality operates a small shop for the production of wood.

Due to its proximity to Salzburg and excellent conditions for recreation, Fuschl am See, a popular tourist destination.
