In the historic city of Yelabuga is a unique museum of its kind in the county of medicine, associated with the name of the outstanding academician, neurologist, psychologist and physiologist Vladimir Mikhailovich spondylitis. The museum is housed in a wooden building of the nineteenth century the former district hospital.

County Museum of Medicine .  AT . M . Spondylitis opened in 2007 in the five halls of the former Zemstvo clinic .  The museum presents the history of public health since ancient times in Yelabuga region .  The permanent exhibition includes: office district doctor, operating, an old pharmacy, children's department, Chamber of the mentally ill, as well as in one of the rooms of the house to create an interior Yelabuga quack .  Particularly valuable exhibits are lifetime publications of articles in .
