National park "Adamello Brenta" is located in the western part of the Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige and consists of mountain ranges and the Adamello Brenta, separated by Val Rendena valley. The total area of the park - the largest in Trentino and one of the largest in Europe - 620 51 sq.km. Around it lie the picturesque Val di Non, Val di Sole and Dzhudikarie. In total, the park is 39 municipalities.
Terrain Park extraordinarily diverse, due to the ranking of heights from 400 to 3500 meters (Cima Presanella Mountain) - here there are vast forests, pastures and grassy meadows, rocky cliffs and glaciers. By the way, the Adamello glacier is considered one of the biggest in Europe. In addition, the park is famous for its abundance of water - some lakes are more than 50! All this contributes to the prosperity of wildlife, rich in the Alps. The park is home to many species of mountain, especially numerous brown bears that have become a symbol of the park and alpine ibex. No less diverse and flora- similar species richness is found only in some parts of the Alps.
Among the several wonderful valleys that make up the "Adamello Brenta" particularly stands out is long and truly wild Val Genova, where a breathtaking peaks descend down waterfalls. In the east of the park located Dolomiti di Brenta: a fairy-tale landscape of pointed towers, and overhanging walls. The idea of creating a protected area between the mountain ranges of Adamello-Presanella and Dolomiti di Brenta appeared in the early 20th century - then dealt with the conservation of populations of brown bears, as well as the protection of Lake Tovel and the Val Genova, but only in 1967 park "Adamello Brenta" was founded. Today it is one of the main natural attractions of Trentino-Alto Adige, popular among fans of eco-tourism.
