One of the most interesting and popular attractions of the beautiful Greek island of Rhodes is unquestionably a unique museum of honey and beekeeping, located in the small village of Pastida. It is the only museum of its kind in Greece.

The museum was founded by Melissokomiki Dodecanesou, which is the largest producer of honey and other bee products on the islands of the Dodecanese. Products of this company is known throughout the country and are of high quality, which is closely monitored.

The exhibition, presented in the museum, perfectly illustrates the history of beekeeping on the island of Rhodes, which goes back more than two centuries.
