Prague fountains generally poor, so to admire the Krizik fountains come not only travelers, but also residents of the capital. They are located in the park at the Palace of Industry, which was built for the World's Fair in 1891. To get to the Krizik fountains need to get out at the metro station "Nádraží Holešovice" and a little walk down the street Vrbensky.
The fountains are named after their creator - Frantisek Křižík. They were built at the same time as the Palace industry. Reconstruction of the fountains was made relatively recently - in 1991 and has been dedicated to another exhibition - Universal Czechoslovak.
Fountains are a pool 25h45 meters, which is a few rings, tubes, spewing water.
Krizik fountains tough, they singing. In many European cities there singing fountains, and to attend the performances, when the water shoots up and down to the sound of different pieces of music, absolutely free. In Prague, the representations of the Krizik Fountain staged a show for which you need to buy special tickets. The music ranges from classical to rock ballads. Around the fountains arranged seats for spectators in an amphitheater, and I must say that they are never empty. It's so nice to walk until late in the evening on the old Prague, and then go on singing fountains view. The show starts at 20.00 and ends at 23.00. During the evening, it takes several representations with different music.
