"Golden Roof" - the emblem of the town. It was built under Duke Frederick IV in the early XV century. In the years 1494-1496 was built on a bay window, from which you can watch tournaments and performances taking place on the square. Roof oriel rests on two pillars of Fine and decorated in 2657 with small gold-plated copper tiles, from which it takes its name.

The walls are decorated with wonderful paintings and sandstone reliefs depicting amazing animals, the imperial profile, emblems of states and famous families. Previously, this building was the first residence of the Habsburgs, now - it is a museum that tells about the life of the Habsburgs and the Emperor Maximilian I.
