The museum, where children are allowed to touch all the exhibits, pick up and even conduct scientific experiments with them, was opened in Hiroshima in 1980, the new building of the city children's library.

The Children's Museum is located in the city center, close to the convention center Green Arena and the family pool. Next to the museum is also a concrete platform on which train ekstremaly on skateboards and bicycles BMX.
