It is a small but very comfortable, surrounded by a colorful medieval houses, most of which have retained the original appearance. Many of the buildings are decorated with valuable frescoes. For example, on the facade of the house №14 is a picture, which depicts Saint John of Nepomuk.

Probably, the main building of this area is considered to be a squat town hall, built in 1519 on the site of an older building. Its facade immediately attracted the attention of large coat of arms, two of which belong to the country and the city, and the two are the emblems of Czech families for a long time owned Cesky Krumlov - Eggenbergs and Schwarzenberg. On the roof of the Town Hall installed decorative vases that were made in the XVIII century. Under the eaves, you can see a small bell, with which collected at the meeting of members of the magistrate. Now City Hall are a travel agency, where you can take free city maps, and a tiny but very interesting museum of torture.

The house is next to the Town Hall at number 2 is known for its ghost. Earlier this mansion offers a restaurant, whose owner called Yang constantly accused an employee of the local brewer that he is cheating on him and not give him the full kegs of beer. This man fired. Then the curse of the wronged employee tavern. Yang went down into the cellar, slipped and rolled head over heels down. On top of it fell heavy kegs, causing his death. His soul is still wandering around the house, scaring residents.
