St. Martin's Cathedral - the Catholic Church, which is located in the Austrian city of Eisenstadt is the cathedral of the diocese.

The first written mention of a chapel in honor of St. Martin dates back to 1264 year. While the cathedral was called "small Martin" and geographically located in a small Hungarian village. In the 13th century the cathedral was rebuilt in the Gothic style. After the great fire in 1589 the cathedral was badly damaged, restoration took almost 30 years and was completed in 1629. In 1777 he appeared in the cathedral icon "The Transfiguration of St. Martin" works of Stephen Dorfmeister, and a year later at the Cathedral of established authority.

After the creation of the diocese Eisenstadt church of St. Martin was the cathedral of the diocese. In 1960, by order of Bishop Stephen Laszlo began work to change the interior of the cathedral. The work was done by the architect Jacob Adelharta until 2003. Above the stained-glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Jesus Christ, Franz worked Deed, aisles, dedicated to John the Baptist, designed Margret Bilger. 20 years later, in 1980, he appeared in the Cathedral stained glass window dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Altar of the Cathedral of St. Martin was consecrated in April 2003.

Cathedral famous organ recitals held here, including the Haydn Festival.
