Maritime Museum "Voyager" or "Voyager" - this is the most outstanding Maritime Museum of New Zealand. It is located in Auckland, at Freemans Bay. The museum contains information about all aspects of shipping in New Zealand, since the Indians Maori canoe, finishing legendary yacht Black Magic and Team New Zealand.

The museum contains multiple exposures combined different topics. "Theatre Te Waka» - this is a ten-minute animated film, which tells of the arrival of the first immigrants to land in New Zealand over a thousand years ago. While some small tropical islands of Polynesia were central home for the Indians Maori. Te Waka is shown every 15 minutes throughout the day.

The exhibition "Closer to the coast," contains exhibits telling about the opening of New Zealand's early European explorers. These amazing journey Dutch, French, English, Spanish halfway around the world are an important part of the maritime history of New Zealand. The pearl of the exhibition - a restored 19th-century ship - Reva (Rewa), which was used for trade.

Meeting - "New Beginnings" tells the story of emigrants 1850-60-ies. About how people left their homes, families, property and went to the other end of the world for a new life. A feature of the exhibition is an exact reproduction of Kubrick ships that traveled expats.

The section "Black Magic Open Sea" is dedicated to Sir Peter Blake - New Zealand's most famous sailor, yachtsman, winner of the worldwide popularity of sea competitions and environmentalists. "Maritime Art Gallery" - a collection of paintings by the best of New Zealand marine painters. Gallery reflects the true spirit of naval power. The exhibition "New Zealanders and Coast" tells the story of how specific and strong ties the people of New Zealand and the sea, how much sailing influenced the culture and mentality of every resident of the country.

The museum has its own small fleet of three sailing ships, some of which are exact copies of ancient ships, and some are restored originals. All ships on the move, and even have the opportunity to ride on them.

Each year the museum holds an extraordinary festival that lasts several days. During the festival, any visitor can not only enjoy the beautiful ships, but also to board each of them. The rich program of the festival ends with fireworks.
