Intricate labyrinths of narrow streets lined with arched ceilings often ended in stalemate and create additional difficulties for penetrating into the territory of the enemy fortress. Sentinel tower connected by an underground tunnel, through which it was possible to get in the main defensive tower, located on the central square. The well is equipped under one of the towers, giving local residents a great opportunity to hold in the case of a long siege.
