Roros mining town is the only town in Norway, located high in the mountains. Over 250 years Roros was the most important mining centers of Norway.

In the city of about a hundred wooden houses, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage and is under UNESCO protection. This metallurgical city, much of which relates to the XVIII-XIX centuries, and today retains many of its distinctive features. The only stone building in the city - a church built in 1784.

The building is now the workshop of copper Local History Museum.
