Theologos - a picturesque mountain village on the Greek island of Thassos. It is located at an altitude of about 200-220 meters above sea level, 10 km north of Potos and 55 km south of the capital of the island. This is a very beautiful village, which has a long and rich history and is famous for its traditional architecture.

In 1979, the Greek government declared Theologos cultural capital and an important historical monument, limiting the construction of new buildings and setting clear criteria and standards for the reconstruction of the great old buildings. Thus it was possible to preserve the historical and cultural values, as well as the charming atmosphere of a traditional Greek village. Today in Theologos you can see many beautiful old houses covered with slate roofs. Some buildings date from the 16th century.

Also of particular interest is an entertaining Ethnographic Museum, situated in the center of the village in a well-preserved mansion of the leader of the Greek rebel Hatzigeorgisa.
