Parz Lake - a small lake located in Tavush region at an altitude of 1334 meters above sea level. The lake stretches in Dilijan park in a shallow valley surrounded by forests. The total length of the lake, which has an elongated shape, is 385 m, width - about 85 meters, and the depth - of more than 5 meters.

The water in the lake Parz greenish color, very clear and clean. Forest grows right next to the shoreline, and bowed to the powerful Lake trees are reflected in its water surface. Lake Parz is filled with water from mountain springs.

Around the lake is a huge number of guest houses and cozy restaurants, shrouded in a dense forest. This place is very coveted by tourists, because here you can relax wonderful, positive energy, a fascinating journey on horseback, visit the entertainment complex. On the territory of the lake opened several Rentals, where you can rent a catamaran or a boat to enjoy the lake and plenty of incredible beauty. Also on the banks of Parzen equipped with several cozy gazebos and designated barbecue areas.

According to one legend associated with this lake, there died a couple of newlyweds. Since that time, each young couple has become a tradition to come to the lake Parz after the marriage ceremony to commemorate the victims of the newlyweds.

Today Lake Parz is one of the main natural attractions of the city of Dilijan.
