Church of Our Lady - one of the primary monuments North German architecture, which served as a model for many church buildings. The church was built during the heyday of Luebeck in the years 1251-1310 on the model of French cathedrals and is the personification of pride for the city burghers. This three-aisled basilica with the world's highest brick vaulted ceiling (height of 40 meters, length 102 meters).

The church is the largest mechanical organ in the world and a cappella "Against war and violence" in which you can see two old split his four bell, cast in 1508 and 1669 respectively. In the main nave, you can see the baptismal font in 1337, and Capella - Antwerp altarpiece in 1518, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The chapel Brifkapelle remained one of the earliest (1310) samples of star set in Europe.
