Among the many museums in La Rochelle, particularly noteworthy are two that will be interesting to visit for those traveling with children. It is a museum of automata (or mechanical toys) and the Museum of scale models.

For the first museum of its organizers collected exhibits throughout France and even buy them at auction in London.
