Pilanesberg National Park, created in 1979, has an area of 55,000 hectares and is located in the crater of an extinct volcano. Many animals were brought here from different parts of South Africa and neighboring countries. In addition to the 'Big Five' and many other animals, the park is a paradise for bird lovers, they are more than 340 species. Visitors can spend 2 or 3-hour game drive (safari) in jeeps or buses with an open top, which are held two times a day (morning and evening), when most likely to see a large number of animals.
