Estate Museum Mendeleev "Boblovo" is located in Solnechnogorsk district, near the town of Klin. Mendeleev bought a small estate in Boblovo in the mid 60-ies of the XIX century. Here he spent the summer months up until 1906. According to his plan, the estate was set up laboratory for chemical experiments, and in a small field near the house, Dmitri Ivanovich experimented with fertilizers.

Here there Timiryazev, Popov, AIKuindzhi, Ivan Shishkin, to observe the flight of the scientist in a balloon in 1887 came here Ilya Repin. It was here in Boblovo, the wedding of the daughter of Mendeleev - Lyubov Dmitrievna with Alexander Blok.

The estate remained one of the buildings beginning of the XIX century, poplar, lilac and Elm alley, as well as three small old park, one of which was developed with the participation of artists and AIKuindzhi NAJaroshenko. The museum documents and personal belongings of Mendeleyev and his family, a collection of country life, the library on the history of Russian Physico-Chemical Society.
