Church of St. Augustine, which also has the name of the Church of God's grace, is located in the historic center of Santiago de Chile.

The foundation of the building was erected in 1625, but the facade of a building in neoclassical style was built two centuries later: a porch with four columns supporting an entablature and balustrade were erected Fermininom Vivaseta in 1863. This stage also included the construction of the tower.

The first temple built in stone by the Peruvian architect, whose name was not known to have been destroyed by an earthquake in 1627, but the foundation of the building is still used today. Almost 80 years later, in 1707, the church opened its doors again for the faithful. In 1730 the church was badly damaged in the earthquake, and only in 1784 was again restored. Between 1799 and 1803 in the halls of the temple were carried out work on the interior decoration in the Baroque style.

Church of St. Augustine has three naves separated by thick, square at the base, the columns. The last and most important restoration works in the church were made in 2003. Church of Saint Augustine was declared a national monument of Chile in 1981.
