Prague Botanical Gardens is not located in the city center. To it is necessary to go by metro (station Kobylisy) and by bus. But such a long road will take you to a truly unique area, converted through the efforts of specialists in an oasis of wildlife in the midst of concrete jungle of the city.

The Prague Botanical Garden is still very young .  For the first time it opened its doors to visitors in 1992 .  However, his organization lasted from 1969 .  For 23 years, we broke up alleys, ennobled the landscape, planted rare plants, for which they will first need to find, buy, and only then bring in the future Botanical Garden .  On the paper were attracted many botanists and agronomists .  As a result, the people of Prague and visitors to the capital of the Czech Republic have the opportunity to stroll through the large park where expositions of plants brought from different corners of the globe .  Is there a collection of flora of Turkey and the Mediterranean countries, Japan, China, Africa, South America and so on .  Part of the botanical garden covers a vast plantation of vineyards .  But the highlight of this park is a tropical greenhouse "Fata Morgana", where live exotic butterflies .  And Park and Orangery are open year round .  In the tropical pavilion bloom does not stop for a moment, so even in winter there is something to see .  The greenhouse contains unique plants, which are home to a warm, humid forests of the planet .  Greenhouse adorns the lake, overgrown with water lilies .  There is a corner where they feel comfortable with cacti and other inhabitants of the deserts and semi-deserts .
