House "At the White Unicorn", located in Republic Square, is very easy to learn: it operates a pharmacy, decorated in the old style, and its façade, designed in neo-Renaissance style, is decorated with paintings in sgraffito. These drawings depicting the collection of various medicinal plants, were created the renowned artist from Pilsen Mikulas Alyosha in 1896. At the time, the owner of the pharmacy noticed that the house "At the White Unicorn" was no different from the neighboring mansion. In order to somehow highlight its pharmacy and attract new customers, he invited the architect and artist Nicholas Alyosha to paint the facade.

Interestingly, a pharmacy, which occupies the entire first floor of the house is considered to be the oldest in the Plzeň region. She has been working for more than 350 years and belongs to a private person - Mrs Jana Rzhehulovoy cute. The first mention of this place is found in documents dated 1637 year. And all this time the pharmacy has not changed its position. According to local ethnographers, the house "At the White Unicorn" was built taking into account the fact that in its ground floor is located a pharmacy. This structure came here in the XIX century on the site of an old house that belonged to a wealthy citizen. Above the entrance to the house, you can see a picture of a unicorn's head, which gave its name to this building.

On the upper floors of the house "At the White Unicorn" private doctors offices are located. This neighborhood is very well and like both doctors and their patients, because the latter can not search for a pharmacy to purchase medicines on prescription: it is right there.
