Church of St. Nicholas in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is located in a building that was previously a cinema "Rodina". Today the relics brought here from all over the world and this is where are all the most important events Orthodox city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

In 1995 the building of the former cinema "Homeland" was officially handed over to the diocese of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka. For 10 years it housed the church of St. Nicholas. In September of the same year is the opening of the spiritual and educational center. In 2012, through the joint efforts of the diocese of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka, the Kamchatka Territory Governor and work began on the reconstruction of the center.
