One of the oldest local buildings belonging to the Jesuits, and the first buildings constructed on the territory of Olomouc Baroque - a Jesuit Konvikt. Today it is the center of culture and recreation Palacky University Olomouc. There are a variety of public lectures and performances, which are equipped with a special audience. Sometimes here you can see theatrical performances and concerts, both beginners and experienced artists. Building Konvikt, reconstructed in accordance with modern demands, is equipped with a cinema, theatrical stage and an exhibition hall, located in the attic. Since this building is now owned by the management of the University, then get in the middle will not be easy, but some tourists did it.

The project of the building of the Jesuit Convict worked renowned local architect P. Shiler. He supervised the construction, as it is sometimes the drawings required further explanation.

Jesuit Convict after the departure of the Jesuits from the Czech Republic are owned by the state. At the time, there were placed warehouses and housed a military garrison.

The complex includes a unique Jesuit Convict Corpus Christi chapel, dating from the XVIII century. It was built in the late baroque style and is decorated with an unusually beautiful sculptures of saints created by renowned carver F. Sattler. She also visited to admire the amazing paintings, located in the vaults. They were painted by J. K. Gandke.
