Church Sør-Fron - a majestic octagonal stone church in the style of Louis XVI. It is located 70 km north of Lillehammer. In common parlance it stuck her name - "Temple Gudbrandsal."
The cathedral was built in 1787 by Sven Aspaasom on the site of the old church in the parish of fron and consecrated in 1792. The church can accommodate up to 750 people.
Chair in Sør-Fron older than the church itself. It was created in 1703 by sculptor Lars Borg Jensen. The altar picture painted by Frederik Petersen, shows the scene of the Crucifixion of Christ and the events described in the Gospel of John.
