Moalboal - a small town in the province of Cebu has a population of only 27 thousand people. The town, located on the southwest coast of the island of Cebu in the 89 km from the island's capital, to the west by the Strait Tanonskim, and its shores are seen Negros Island, Badian and a popular tourist destination - the island of Pescador. On Pescador is an old lighthouse - one of the most interesting attractions of the island.

Since the beginning of the 1970s in Moalboale started to develop the tourism industry, focused primarily on the diving and beach holidays. This is where the famous beach Panagsama with hotels, spas, bars and restaurants and popular among fans of the "lazy" holiday beaches with clean white sand and crystal waters. To get to town, you can by public transport or a taxi - the road from Cebu International Airport will take approximately 2, 5 hours.

Active guests appreciate Moalboal of excellent opportunities for diving and snorkeling. Located off the coast of a small island Pescador is considered one of the best in the Philippines dive sites because of its coral reef. Depths here no more than 40 meters and visibility is excellent. The reef is located in the territory of Moalboal Marine Park, known for its incredible biodiversity, one of the highest in the world. The exact number of species of fish in the waters of the park is not known, but estimated it is 2, 5 thousand! That's about 70% of all fish species registered in the Philippines.

A 20 km from Moalboal you can find beautiful waterfalls hidden among the thickets of the forest caves and shallow, but very exciting canyons.
