City lake or as it is called, Stanislavsky sea, appeared in the city in 1995. This lake - an artificial, and it was formed at the site of the former menagerie Potocki. These fields used to love to hunt the Polish gentry. And in the days of the Soviet Union on the territory of the zoo have made several ponds that are connected via gateways to the river Bistrica. It is this water from rivers and lakes were filled.

Today the city lake - a favorite vacation spot not only local residents, but also visitors. Here spend a hot summer day, bathing in cool water, boating or relax in the shade of the trees. Fine lake in the spring and autumn. But, perhaps, the most romantic and famous place on the lake - Bridge of Love. In the near future the city administration plans to carry out large-scale work on the improvement of the lake, bank stabilization, construction of new cleaning channels. The program aims to improve the lake's water.
