Clock Tower (another name - a former minaret Teps) is the most ancient building in Erzurum. First minaret played the observation tower. It was built in the early twelfth century. The tower already in the Ottoman times did hour. Despite the fact that the clock mechanism was stopped time - the clock tower still remains a monument of architecture. This watch once presented to Queen Victoria herself.

Clock Tower is one of the highest points of not only the fortress, but also in the entire city. It offers a beautiful view of the valley and the city. The architectural style of the tower completely in harmony with the rest of the fortress, as they are built in different eras.

Climb on it can be a spiral staircase running inside.
