Piazza Vescovado - Episcopal area - one of the main attractions of the resort town of Caorle. It has recently been restored, and today, according to residents, best reflects the transition from Caorle second to the third millennium. The area has always been not only an important religious place, but the real center of the Roman and Venetian Kaprulae (as in ancient times was called the Caorle).

Piazza Vescovado facing two major attractions of the city - the Cathedral and its unique cylindrical bell tower. In contrast facade of the cathedral dedicated to the patron saint of Caorle Stefan, you can see the colorful marble flooring, which reflects the location of the ancient baptistery of Madonna delle Grazie, demolished in the 18th century.

Behind the Cathedral begins long wall that surrounds the residence of the bishop - Palazzo, built in the 16th century on the orders of Pietro Carlo. The palace is connected to the cloister church, which is particularly noteworthy frescoes. There, in the center of the garden, you can see the Roman "vera da Pozzo" - type of the well with a tank, common in Venice.

Another important structure is the Piazza Vescovado city center, built in the first half of the 20th century and recently renovated. Nearby is the headquarters Ministestva Finance and historic Palazzo Pretoria. Behind the cathedral begins Via della Canonica, which connects to the Via della Saket and goes towards the ancient Napoleonic cemetery.
