Nineteenth battery Drapushko - this famous Crimean fortification in the city of Balaklava, which is located on top of the mountain on the left side of the entrance to Balaklava Bay. Coastal fortifications began to build in 1912 and ended only in 1924. Nineteenth battery was able to get cruisers and battleships at a distance of 20 km, it had four 152-millimeter guns. It was built practically on the precipice, with a spacious approach with only one hand.
Nineteenth Crimean battery consisted of four gun ports, under which underground communications, ammunition depot, boiler, compressor and power stations, utility room and command center. Near each gun worked for 12 persons, shells weighing 52 kg were submitted to the gun manual.
