Michael the Archangel monastery was founded in the XIII century, but survived the later construction - XVI-XVIII centuries. Over the five-domed Holy Gate towers Gate Church St. John the Evangelist, built in 1670. Inside the gates of Saints cut special niches seat weary pilgrims.
In the center stands the Monastery ST. Archangel Michael, built in 1729, with an earlier belfry (XVII century). The high volume of the cathedral, complete dynamic five domes, the second composition gate of the temple.
In the southern part of the monastery is Znamenskaya refectory church. Its first floor was intended for commercial purposes, on the second floor housed the refectory, which is adjacent to the church itself. From the west to the refectory adjoining cellarer Chamber serving the courtyard of the monastery, and connected with a narrow passage Arhimandritskim housing 1684. On the second floor Arhimandritskogo preserved body of great beauty with various inscriptions tiled stoves.
Best of the buildings is a monumental bell tower, built in 1683 Wide low bushel with three symmetrically arranged windows on the front facade bears a massive octagonal post-cabinet with broad shoulders at the corners and cornices. His plane is richly decorated. It ends with a majestic bell tower tent with herds projections on the ribs, three tiers of windows, rumors and elegant dome, covered with green, shiny tiles.
