Temple of the Holy Martyr Tatiana Vladivostok - is one of the iconic sights of the city. A small, but very cozy temple-chapel is located in the park between the streets Sibirtseva and Pushkin, near the funicular station, near the main entrance to the former building "A" of the Far Eastern State Technical University (FESTU).
Chapel Church of St. Tatiana was built in 2000. The construction of the church was engaged in a group of architects and students, who studied in the Institute of Architecture FESTU. Supervised construction work Professor V. Mora. Temple of the Holy Martyr Tatiana entered the complex, which includes a chapel, a belfry and a monument to the students who died during the Great Patriotic War.
In 2002, from the Pskov-Pechora monastery was brought to the temple relics of St. Tatiana (Tatiana) who have decided to put the icons in Kyoto.
According to the original project without a chapel designed altar pieces, resulting in a chapel church communion has not been performed and the wedding, but only carried out the baptism, prayers and memorial services. This situation could be corrected only the construction of the altar. In 2003 began an extension of the altar, which lasted less than a year. The new extension is very harmoniously fit into the architectural design of V. Mora. In 2004, just Tatyana's Day, in the church-chapel was held the first liturgy.
The main visitors to the church of St. Martyr Tatiana are students and teachers.
