Church of St. Andrew in Vladivostok - a small snow-white domed temple, located on Ship quay near the memorial complex "Battle Glory of the Pacific Fleet," which was established in honor of the soldiers killed in the Great Patriotic War. The church can accommodate no more than 40-50 people.

The decision to build the church was made in the summer of 2003 the command of the Pacific Fleet. The ceremonial consecration of the foundation stone took place in August 2004 and started the construction of the chapel.

The main initiators of the building are the largest naval structure: PF, DVMS and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise and the Ministry of Defense. The author of the project construction of the temple was made by the Architectural Institute of the Far Eastern State Technical University under the leadership of Professor W. Moore and Central Design Institute of the Ministry of Defense.

In May 2005, on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the Victory, Archbishop Veniamin of Vladivostok and Primorye held solemn consecration of the chapel in honor of St. Andrew the Apostle. The inner part of the building of the church is decorated with icons. In the icons, you can see the faces of many soldiers, for example, George, Fyodor Ushakov, Demetrius and others.
