The former imperial residence of Schönbrunn includes the palace and huge park, which includes the Botanical Gardens, Palm Pavilion, the oldest zoo in Europe, and much more.
The palace was built in 1713 as a summer imperial residence, but was reconstructed several times. His best rooms date back to the reign of Empress Maria Theresa. From more than a thousand rooms for tourists opened about 40.
