On top of the highest hill in the city of Udaipur Aravalli that is located above the lake Pichola, offering spectacular panoramic views of the city and the lake, located Monsoon white palace, also known as the Palace has Sajjan Garh. Its history began in 1884, when power was Maharaja Sajjan Singh, famous for its progressive views. It was during this ruler to build roads, plant trees and gardens the city, and there was a water supply system.

Not surprisingly, the Palace, planned Sajjan Singh had become a comfortable and modern. But, unfortunately, the Maharaja died before the castle was built. Completed construction was at its receiver Fateh Singh, although not all the ideas the governor Sajjana been implemented. Erected at a height of 944 meters, the palace served as a great place to observe the clouds during monsoon (hence the name), as well as to relax in the hunting season.

By the palace is a winding road across the mountain, which rests on the massive gate in the wall surrounding the palace complex and its strong bastions were good protection for Sajjan Garh.

Monsoon is built entirely of white marble and is a great and magnificent castle with many rooms and halls. Pinnacle neat dome, carved borders and delicate arches decorated with very clean lines of the building. Standing on top of the mountain palace looks fabulous when the lights turn on at night. And the area around the castle since 1987, received the status of the protected zone, which is called Sadzhangarh.

Among the tourists a place particularly popular at a time when the monsoon blows. It was then revealed the beauty of the magnificent palace Monsoon.
