The church, which has the name of Vvedenskaya and located in Feodosia, is the oldest architectural monument of the city. She is very well known and popular among visitors and local people. According to historical and archaeological materials, the Greek Church was erected from the seventh to the ninth century.

Temple consists of several structures, which were built at different times. The most ancient - it is part of the Byzantine. It is a small church hall type. The lower part of the bell tower consists of four pillars, which are covered very beautiful dome located on the sails, and refers to the buildings of a later period. This part of the building is the entrance portico. In 1829, the nave was built part of the structure, which connected with the bell tower of the ancient part of the church. This structure exists at the moment. In the same year we laid the gaps that existed between the input columns of the portico. At the top tier of the portico built to house the bells. The oldest part of the church, in Korobov vault, made a light drum tents. The interior of the church was decorated with frescoes and beautiful delicate work - stone carving.

Earlier Vvedenskaya church was run by the Greek community of the city of Feodosia. According to old-timers, the service in the church was carried out in two languages, Greek and Russian. In the courtyard of the temple is a school, housing and places for the priest.

The Church has ceased to work in the 30 years of the twentieth century. It was closed, as well as many other temples. Large dome with a bell tower were demolished. In the last ten years the church was used for other purposes. The rich decoration of the church was lost forever. The room made a gym. In 1993, the newly installed dome of the temple and restored it.
