Museum of military equipment - one of the attractions of the city of Temryuk, located on both sides of the highway, on a small hill (volcano bowl), in the south-east of the settlement.

The museum was opened in 1983 and was timed to the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the Taman Peninsula from the Nazi invaders. It was initiated by the World War II veterans, local authorities and members of the Temryuk Historical and Archaeological Museum. Today the museum has more than 100 exhibits. It is the largest museum of its kind in the country.

The museum exposition - is the military equipment of the Great Patriotic War and the postwar period, illustrating the defeat in 1943 of the enemy in Taman and the battle for the Caucasus. Here are many kinds of military equipment: aircraft, torpedo boats, tanks, missiles, small arms, and more.

Today, a ship has taken its rightful place among the exposition. This exhibit has been set for the 65 th anniversary of the victory thanks to the initiative of the head of municipal formation Temryuk district.
