Sumy Regional Philharmonic Society is located on the street Peter and Paul, 63. Previously, it was a public meeting house, built in the 90th. 19 Art. on the land, which gave the city a landowner and philanthropist G. Kondratyev. He was responsible for the construction of the Noble Assembly. This two-story building, the roof of which there are three small four-sided dome, topped by raised to the sky with massive spiers. Domes are very similar to the dome of the old pavilions, which in the course of the restoration was replaced by a new one. On the ground floor of the building housed a theater, a music room and a restaurant, while the second - for the gambling halls and rooms for smoking. Also, the house belonged to the huge size of its fleet.

Facade Sumy Philharmonic has a luxurious decor and the rich architectural details that make the construction of an official status .  It is decorated with three symmetrically arranged balcony, with shaped metal fencing .  Mezhduokonnye pilasters made in the Ionic order, long windows have in-depth frame .  Also, among other interesting architectural details, you can see the weatherstrip belt, luxurious stucco garlands and a frieze .  On the second floor of the building of the regional philharmonic society there are three symmetrically arranged balcony - the central balcony, which is located above the main entrance, and the other two on the edges of the building .  Balconies protected gracefully curved bars .  As for windows, balconies are on, they are framed by more richly than other .  Interior Philharmonic strikes a special pomp in the decoration of the ceiling and balcony, organ size, furniture and massive chandeliers glitter .  At the entrance to the auditorium there are two lodges . 

On the stage of the House Public Meeting were such famous singers as F. Chaliapin, L. Sobinov S.Lemeshev.
